2017 ROUND UP

2017 - what a cracker!! I'll keep it short and sweet as there is so SO much I could say about the marvellous human beings who've all put their trust in me this year to capture their friends, their families, their epic moments in life.  We've had SO many laughs, a few tears (that leaked out in times of joy), sunshine, rain, wind (thanks Storm Brian) and some more rain - topped off with some epic wintery crispness.

My first full time free-lance year and I survived it! My heart is over flowing and each and every couple or family I've met this year has been a joy to capture and spend a day in the life of.

Thank you everyone - I've come away with so many great new friendships and am stoked to continue to cross paths with many of you. To a new year! This one promises to be jam packed and full of adventure - watch this space! I'll be releasing more of the awesome 2017 weddings on the blog over the coming months mixed in with current bits and bobs too!

Bristol Harbourside Pre-Shoot - Fran + Laura

Bristol Harbourside Pre-Shoot - Fran + Laura

These two beauts get married tomorrow!! (Well - they did the official bit today, but we're going all out tomorrow!), so there's no time like the present to share their pre-shoot with you. We had a wander down by the harbourside near M-Shed where Fran works back when it was a little bit warmer (where has the time gone??), and hunted out some spots of sunshine whilst all getting to know each other a bit better. I love that the plans for their day have revolved around it being informal and all about having a great time with the ones they love.

Here's a few of my favourites  - and it's safe to say I'm really looking forward to capturing tomorrow!

Chew Valley Lake Pre-shoot - Caroline + Jamie

Chew Valley Lake Pre-shoot - Caroline + Jamie

The last time I met up with Caroline + Jamie, we went for an evening stroll around Chew Valley Lake in Somerset, the sun was setting after what had been a fairly grey day and I don't think we could have time it any better. I flipping love a good sunset shoot - so if anyone fancies taking me along on a romantic sunset walk any time soon ;)

Georgia+Darren Balloon Fiesta Shoot SNEAK

This morning I got up at 4.40am. I'd usually stay comatose until at least 9ish (on an early day off), but today, I was super excited to go the Bristol's Balloon Fiesta for the first time. And we were gonna make it count - going to the first take off which starts between 6am-8am.

Georgia, Darren, Cooper and Chester all arrived a little sleepy eyed but cheerful  and we set off.

It was definitely worth the early start - here's just a couple of sneaks.
