Suzi and Robert got married in the beautiful surroundings of Springhead House and Gardens in Fontmell Magna, Dorset. They had a tiny, intimate affair with just their absolute nearest and dearest around them, and heartfelt emotions flowed throughout the day. Although compact - the day was somewhat international with guests coming from Japan, China and (the not-quite-so-far) London.
Both Suzi and Robert had sourced all vintage outfits for the day, wanting nothing too extravagant or wasteful, but finding gems in markets, fayres and by borrowing items.
The day started at what was once Fontmell Chapel, with bridal preparation and a feast for the eyes in such an incredibly calm and gentle atmosphere. With it's current role as a yoga sanctuary it seems quite apt that the place oozes serene.
It'd been a while now since I was last at this little chapel in Fontmell Magna, all the way back in September when I got wed to my boy, and coming back to begin the day of another wedding strangely felt, completely natural.
Thank you Suzi and Robert for inviting me to record your special day - it really was an amazing celebration of love for family, and each other which I felt privileged to be a part of.
Here's an account of their day.
